Pyrope Garnet: Transparent to semi-translucent medium to dark reddish orange and red to slightly purplish red. They are normally found in smaller sizes under 2 cts. They are found in Australia, Czechoslovakia, South Africa and the USA. They are the birthstone for January and Aquarius as well as the 2nd Wedding Anniversary.
