Peridot : Transparent to translucent yellow green to greenish yellow and brownish green. They have a unique inclusion called a lily-pad. Peridot is one of the older gemstones, being found in Egyptian jewelry as far back as the 2 nd millennium BC. The name Peridot comes from the Greek word Peridona, which means something close to "to give richness". It is found in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Myanmar, China, the USA, Africa and Australia. It is the birthstone for August and Leo, as well as the 16th Wedding Anniversary.
