Malaia Garnet: A mixture of primarily Pyrope and Spessartite Garnet. Transparent light to dark slightly pinkish orange, reddish orange and yellowish orange. Found in East Africa in the 1970's. They are the birthstone for January and Aquarius as well as the 2nd Wedding Anniversary.
